The Wiseburn School District offers a full range of special education programs and services for approximately 190 students. The District is committed to providing appropriate high quality services for students with special needs with an emphasis on collaborative and inclusive models including regular education with consultation, related services (DIS), learning centers, part regular, part special education classes, early intervention preschool programs and resource specialist programs.

Special Education (DIS) related services include such options as: Speech and Language Services, Adaptive Physical Education, and Counseling. Full time Special Day Class Programs are also provided on all regular education campuses(K-8) . Special education support services staff are available at all schools.

In addition, the Wiseburn School District joins other school districts in the South Bay area to form the Southwest Special Education Local Planning Area (SELPA). Although the vast majority of students are served in their home school, there are a number of programs available in neighboring districts operated by Los Angeles County Office of Education and the Lawndale S. D. Consortium.
