The Wiseburn Unified School District offers a full range of special education programs and services for approximately 225 students. The district is committed to providing appropriate high quality services for students with special needs with an emphasis on collaborative and inclusive models including general education with consultation, DIS related services, learning centers, resource specialist programs, special education classes, and a continuum of early intervention preschool programs.

Related services include Speech and Language Services, Adaptive Physical Education, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Counseling Support, and Behavioral Support.

In addition, the Wiseburn Unified School District joins other school districts in the South Bay area as a member of the Southwest Special Education Local Planning Area (SELPA).  Although the majority of students in the Wiseburn Unified School District are served in their home school, there are a number of programs available in neighboring districts, operated by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and the Lawndale Consortium Program.
